Baikal Skullcap (Scutellaria baicalensis) also called the Baikal skullcap, Huang chin, Skull cap or Wogon, is a perennial herb up to 50 cm tall, with beautiful, blue-violet flowers, growing in the Baikal region, the Far East and northern China.

This is an extraordinary plant with excellent healing properties and there is components of Chinese medical products since the beginning of our era, when it found the first mention in Chinese writings. It is very popular in Chinese and Tibetan medicine.
