Description of herb

Thorn Plant (Eleutherococcus senticosus) belongs to the same family of Araliaceae like ginseng and its occurrence roughly coincides with the area of ginseng. And what's special - even the effect of eleuterokok is similar to the effects of ginseng. It comes from the Far East from the Ussuri and Amur and Sachalin rivers, and its native habitat is East Asia, China, Japan, Russia and Korea.

Healing effects

Eleuterokok is basically a stimulator of the organism, it acts primarily as a plant tonic, an adaptogen and a harmonizer. As an adaptogen nonspecifically increases the body's defense against stress - stress (physical, psychic, chemical, etc.), the ability to cope more easily with harmful substances or adverse environmental conditions. For adaptogens, the term harmonizers is used as they contribute to the reconciliation of mental and physical activity, to increasing concentration, physical performance and resilience, and to overcome fatigue and stress. It demonstrably improves performance, resilience, mental status, and increases the body's ability to withstand sunburn, longer chill, and chemicals. It is used as a stimulant for a lot of exertion, mental and physical exertion. It suppresses stress, suppressed depression, is used against arteriosclerosis, regulates blood pressure and pulse rate. It also prevents influenza and shortens its course. It reduces and breaks down blood cholesterol and slows sclerosis of blood vessels. The extract also slightly reduces blood sugar and contributes overall to diabetes, and has a beneficial effect on enzyme production.

It is used for the treatment of various mental disorders, neuroses, cardiovascular diseases, diabetes treatment, physical recovery, as a prophylactic agent for infectious diseases of the respiratory system (influenza, pneumonia) and occupational diseases of workers exposed to physical or psychological effects.
It is used not only to improve the fitness and performance of healthy people, but also as a supportive medicine to increase the resistance of patients suffering from anemia, depression, tuberculosis, chronic diseases of the heart and blood vessels, infectious diseases, postoperative diseases, old age illnesses, of life.

Eleutherocok stimulates mental and physical strength and mitigates the shortcomings caused by the lack of female sex hormone, especially in older women, but also in so-called male menopause. It is good to combine it with phytoestrogens. We can support hormone replacement therapy (alternative medicine recommends hormone precursors, eg DHEA and melatonin hormone.) Men with prostate cancer are contraindicated to suppress estrogen supplementation and therefore are eleutherococcus, leuzea - ??marilla root or ginseng. The use of eleutherococcus prevents the development of tumor metastases, alleviates the external manifestations of the consequences of irradiation, and overall improves the subjective and objective status of patients with oncological diseases. The drug also reduces the toxicity of a wide range of drugs, increases the body's resistance to anticancer treatments, and has a direct effect on immunostimulation (improves resistance to disease). It also improves the blood supply of the heart muscle, but also the brain, so it serves as a prevention against myocardial ischemia and sudden brain events. It also affects the symptoms of neurasthenia, the management of nerve impulses. Eleutherococoic substances improve visual acuity, eye-to-eye resolvability, and treat inherent color-blindness.

It improves memory, affects the function of the glands, regulates the menstrual cycle, regulates the activity of the circulatory system including the heart and blood pressure. It is considered to be the most appropriate means for treating low blood pressure. It has a beneficial effect on skin diseases and hair growth disorders.

In elderly people the reasonable use of eleutherococcus regulates pressure and pulse, improves sleep, increases vitality, people feel balanced, are satisfied, are interested in active activity.
The very beneficial effects and broad spectrum of action make Eleuterokok very attractive, but especially effective in a number of disease states - for example, in the states of weakness, in the treatment of infectious diseases of various origins, in the treatment of viruses, in overwork, exhaustion, in convalescence after surgery and other severe diseases.

Eleuterokok is both externally and internally. It is actually a universal medicine, perfectly replacing known but expensive and less accessible women. Pharmacological tests have shown that eleutherococcus is not less effective than feminine, but on the contrary it even surpasses some properties.

Excellent results have also been proven in domestic animals. (Strengthening growth, increasing gain and prolonging life, reducing calamity, increasing productivity - milking, egg laying.).
