Nodding wintergreen (Orthilia secunda) - a perennial, 10 to 30 cm tall herb, grows continuously across the Urals to Kamchatka and Japan, and occurs in isolation in the mountains of Central Asia, Tibet and the Caucasus. It is part of the herbaceous layer in forest stands together with conifers in humid dark places and wetlands. Orthilia secunda is listed as an endangered species.
It is clearly a female herb and thus its use is given.
