Description of herb

Goldenrod (Solidago virgaurea) - a perennial, up to 1 meter high light-loving herb with yellow racemose inflorescences that blooms from July to October, occurring in pastures, clearings, cypress stands and mountain meadows in most of the northern hemisphere outside the tropical and subtropical areas.

It is an indispensable herb in the treatment of kidney and bladder diseases. Unfortunately, due to the bad environment, it is rapidly disappearing from our nature.

Healing effects

Internally
Due to the content of active substances, the Goldenrod is highly valued as a means of draining water from the body. It is used for kidney diseases, inflammation of the urinary tract, enlarged prostate, and also works well against diarrhea. At the bottom, it helps to excrete uric acid from the body. It is used for urinary stones. When used for 6 weeks, urinary stones are destroyed.
It acts mainly against the pathogenic yeast Candida albicans and Streptococcus. It also acts against pain and improves sperm quality. The extract has a protective effect against X-rays and is used as a vascular agent, has a sedative effect and lowers blood pressure.

Externally
In baths or compresses for poorly healing wounds, rashes and ulcers. Fresh, washed plant leaves can also be used for this purpose.

With its anti-inflammatory action, it has also proven to be a gargle.
