Description of herb

Kondurango - Marsdenia condurango (Marsdenia condurango) - a shrub with a creeping or winding stem comes from the northwestern part of South America, where it grows in mountain jungles and foggy forests at an altitude of up to 3,000 m on the slopes of the Andes in Peru, Ecuador and Colombia.

Bark (Cortex Condurango) is collected for medicinal purposes, which is used as a tonic, roborane and has carcinostatic effects.

It is served in the form of alcohol extract or decoction. An interesting alternative is Kondurang wine.

Preparation and dosing

TEA 1

Preparation: 1 teaspoon to 250 ml of cold water, bring to a boil and cook for 10 minutes. Allow to cool, stir and drain.

Dosing: Drink lukewarm 3 times a day.

Preparation: Boil the bark of Condurango for 5 minutes and let it infuse until it cools down.

Dosing: Drink 2-3 cups daily before meals.

 

TINCTURE

Preparation: Put 150 g of Condurango bark in 1 liter of 50% alcohol for 30 days.

Dosing: Then strain and take 20 drops 3 times a day.

CONDURANGO WINE

Preparation: Put 50 g of finely chopped Konduranga bark into 1 liter of quality dry white wine and leave to macerate for 3-4 weeks.

Dosing: Then drain or filter and take 4-5 tablespoons daily before meals.
