Healing effects

Ash - specifically individual leaves (not whole leaves), harvested in July to August, contain analgesics, lower blood pressure, have diuretic and anti-rheumatic and anti-cancer effects.

They are therefore mainly used for joint pain, rheumatism, gout, kidney disease or fluid retention.

To emphasize the overall effect, in these cases it is very appropriate to use the ash leaf in combination or in a mixture with Meadowsweet and the White Birch leaf.

In pediatrics, it has proven to be a mild laxative.

Ash leaves are most often given in the form of an infusion (3 teaspoons of the drug for 2 glasses of water, which is the daily dose).

Externally, the drug can be used to wash poorly healing wounds or shin ulcers.
